Doctor's visit and new pictures!

Well, today was the 4D ultrasound visit! It really was a great experience that I recommend to any expecting couple. She was moving during a lot of the shots so some are a bit distorted (which scared me a little since she looked a little strange and "doughgirl" like) but we got some great shots which I am posting below. The doctor's appointment went really well, everything seems to be right on track! I've posted some nursery pictures as well. Keep us in your thoughts!!!

Matthew, Shanna and Addison

The pictures of Addison go from the end of the session to the beginning so the first picture was actually one of the last ones taken....and she's crying! It was hysterical!

Notice how many pictures of the nursery that Allie is in...she's such the photo hog :)

4D Ultrasound and Nursery Pics!

Allie loves Addison's "watching football" chair!

The only part that's not complete, still waiting on more books from the attic :).

The only thing different now is a white sham that has her monogram in pink for the front of the bed.
This was Addison's great great great grandmother's handiwork.

PHOTO HOG.
Her stool to get everything she doesn't need to get....

This was the final shot....she was tired of everyone looking at her!

Mouth wide open just like her mommy....

I can count five fingers!!!

Smiley!
She's looking kinda shy....

Latest Visit

Hi everyone!

Today's visit went well, her heartbeat was 153 and everything looked great. We had a unexpected ultrasound to check my placenta. Last visit, it was kind of low so my doctor wanted to check me again and everything was fine! :)

Here's the latest pictures of our little Addison :). We'll be doing the 3D/4D ultrasound on October 26th so those pictures will be coming soon! She was moving all over the place today, kicking her legs and sucking her thumb during the ultrasound...hilarious!

Continue to pray for all of us, the nursery is almost finished, i'll post pics when we're done!

My last two visits have been really boring...pee in a cup, get weighed and that's about it. So, the big news is.......................................................

IT'S A GIRL!!!!!!!!!

We were shocked (all of the "old wives' tales are completely not accurate) but so thankful all the arms and legs are there and everything is in great working condition that we can see. We are excited about a little "Shanna" running around everywhere...except for the fact that she will have daddy wrapped around her finger and mommy will have to do all of the discipline but that comes with the territory! She was moving all over the place during the ultrasound...we are NOT suprised about that considering who the parents are :).

First picture is pretty graphic, sorry :) although it makes me laugh out loud every time I look at it! The rest are of her face...kinda "catish/skeletor" still, but it's amazing to look at. She's 12 oz. which is right on track with what she should be at this stage. I'm 20 weeks this week and the rest is going to fly by.

Here are the newest pictures and please continue to pray for all of us :)

Matthew, Shanna and "little girl coke can" :)

P.S. If anyone knows of a nice, antique rocker that would be appropriate for her room would you please let me know??? I have been looking for an older one in good shape but am not having any luck!

Second "first" appointment!

Look how much it's grown in a week, unbelievable! Heartbeat was 166 and it was moving and waving at us this morning. Even the ultrasound girls were laughing at how much it was moving, then I mentioned how with Matthew and I being the parents, I would expect nothing less! The next appointment is in June, followed by our appointment in July, when we find out what it is. So exciting. Keep praying for us.

Baby Shearon

If you haven't heard by now, we're expecting! First doctor's appointment was yesterday, heartbeat was 152 and it's 1 and 1/2 centimeters! It's a bean! Due date of December 18th, let's hope it's not late, we'd love to have it here by Christmas. What a present! Say prayers that my sickness gets better and everything continues to go well. Here's a pic: The brain is the "hole" at the bottom....hopefully it fills up with something :), and it looks like it already inherited Matthew's "big head"...kidding, they just have HUGE heads right now anyway. The food supply center right now is the small dot looking thingy underneath the word "Baby's ". It's truly amazing that something is beating and growing inside of me! Our next appt. is next week for the official heart rate and blood being drawn and all that fun stuff.

Bye for now,

Matthew, Shanna and the bean.
